NHIZ celebrates Intl Women's Day with seminar
The Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) hosted a special seminar on March 6 to celebrate International Women's Day.
The event aimed to encourage female entrepreneurs in the zone to accelerate the transformation of traditional foreign trade methods as well as the optimization and upgrading of industrial structures.
Yang Zhiqin, executive director of the Jiangsu World Economic Association, was invited to deliver a lecture on the topic "Changes in the Global Economic and Trade Landscape and Jiangsu's High-Level Opening-Up". She shared insights from her research, discussing the current trends in the international economic and trade landscape, China's push to further open up, and Jiangsu's path to building a highly-open economy.
In addition, in celebration of the 115th International Women's Day, the Women's Federation of NHIZ organized a series of activities for female staff across various departments, industrial parks, Jinxin subdistrict, and local enterprises.
