Party members and organizations in NETDA make contributions in different fields

Party members and organizations in the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area (NETDA) in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province have responded to the call to serve the people by making contributions in different fields.

Meng Xing, the Party member of Ruici Hospital in NETDA, and 27 fellow medical staff aided Wuhan in Hubei province, Nanjing and Yangzhou in Jiangsu province during the pandemic.

In addition, the Party committee of Ruici Hospital organized party members to undertake epidemic prevention work. For example, its volunteer teams had conducted nucleic acid tests for over 310,000 people in Nantong.

In terms of safety, the Party branch of Nantong Ruixiang New Material Co Ltd cooperated with the city's Red Cross to teach first-aid skills such as wound dressing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to more than 80 of its employees.

For innovative development, Miao Xiaojun, a Party member of Datong Baofu Fan Factory, developed a new type of vapor compressor with better rotor dynamic stability after one year of research.

The Party organization of NETDA has also paid close attention to contributing to poverty alleviation, assisting Jiangsu Oji Paper Co Ltd to set up a fund worth 251,000 yuan ($39,000) to help college students in need in Chenggu county, Shaanxi province.
