The Honggang Binjiang Ecological Park – located in the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, or NETDA, in Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province – officially opened on May 5, marking the completion of the area's demonstration section of the ecological and environmental landscape belt along the Yangtze River.

In addition to the ecological park, the demonstration section includes a sightseeing road and a landscape water gate.

The Honggang Binjiang Ecological Park combines the established Laohonggang Provincial Forest Park and the 3A-level Shiwaitaoyuan Leisure Farm. The construction of the park is said to have fully retained the original ecological context, such as the original river beach and reed pond.

Based on the demonstration section, plans are for the NETDA to in future connect its major green landmarks along the Yangtze River and form a complete ecological and environmental landscape belt.
