NETDA to activate internal resources

The Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, or NETDA, located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province, recently held a promotion conference on the green development of intelligent manufacturing in the area.

The event aimed to enhance the cooperation between NETDA's resident enterprises using internal resources to help build a number of intelligent workshops, intelligent factories, green factories, and zero-carbon factories in the area.

The NETDA set out its development goals for the current year at a working meeting on Jan 8. Under the program, it will attach greater importance to scientific and technological innovation, as well as provide a first-class innovation ecosystem for investors.

At the conference, eight resident enterprises made technology promotion in the field of green intelligent manufacturing to some 150 entrepreneurs and technical professionals.

Wang Xiaohong, deputy director of the NETDA administrative committee, also attended the conference. She noted that the NETDA will continue to improve its policy system and strengthen the special support for intelligent technology transformation projects.

The area will hold more matchmaking meetings for resident enterprises of different industrial types to improve the circular development level within the area, said Wang.
