NETDA launches environment monitoring, protection platform

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or NETDA – located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently established an environmental protection and environmental emergency safety management platform.

As a State-level development zone, the NETDA is said to attach great importance to environment protection, pollution prevention and control, production safety and emergency accident work.

The management platform mainly includes two sections – an environmental safety monitoring and perception network and an environmental emergency safety management platform.

According to officials, the platform will provide government departments with more comprehensive first-hand data and management support.

It will also achieve differentiated management through hierarchical controls and targeted security measures.
