Nantong welcomes internet writers' association to boost digital culture industry
The Nantong Internet Writers' Association officially established a presence in the Nantong Digital Culture (Video) Industrial Park in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area during a roundtable discussion on creating a micro and short drama production base in the Yangtze River Delta region on Jan 18.
Founded in November 2018, the Nantong Internet Writers' Association has gained recognition for its talented members, including renowned authors like Guan Pingchao, Geng Su, and Zhuo Muxian (all pen names). Their works have achieved widespread acclaim both domestically and internationally, solidifying Nantong's unique position in online literature across Jiangsu province and beyond.
At the event, an agreement was signed to adapt Binjiang Police Affairs, a popular work of realistic online literature by Nantong-native writer Duan Wuming, into an intellectual property project managed by the Nantong Digital Culture (Video) Industrial Park.
This collaboration highlights the park’s commitment to identifying and cultivating high-quality IP resources. It also provides writers with broader creative platforms and better development opportunities, contributing to the flourishing of the micro and short drama industry.
