The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) hosted the Nantong Digital Culture (Micro Drama) Industry Promotion Conference in Beijing on March 21, attracting nearly 200 enterprises in the online audiovisual industry, including iQiyi and Mango TV‌.

The event saw agreements signed on 10 NETDA-based projects, including the Huace Micro-Drama Base, JiuZhou Micro-Drama Base, and Lingyun Guang AIGC Virtual Studio‌.

Since 2024, the area has prioritized micro dramas as a strategic breakthrough, advancing the high-standard construction of the Nantong Digital Culture (Video) Industrial Park. This initiative has led to the development of over 100,000 square meters of office spaces and the establishment of more than 100 indoor and outdoor filming scenes in NETDA.

Moreover, leading enterprises such as Mango TV, Phoenix Satellite TV, and Luohuaxin have been introduced, driving the aggregation of nearly 40 upstream and downstream service providers in video content production, audio-visual technology R&D, and video copyright trading, forming an emerging industrial cluster‌.

Moving forward, NETDA aims to focus on building a digital video industry ecosystem and strive to become the most influential and competitive digital culture (video) industrial hub in the Yangtze River Delta region. It will have six key areas of focus, including talent cultivation, AI and digital model technology applications, and collaborative innovation with the real economy‌.
