Aviation

It takes about 50 minutes to drive to Pudong International Airport and Nantong Xingdong International Airport.

Railways

The Nanjing–Qidong Railway opened to traffic at the end of 2018. With major infrastructure projects such as the North Riverside High-speed Railway, Qidong will be fully inducted into the half-hour metropolitan circle of Shanghai.

Highways

One national road (G328), two highways (G40, S28) and three provincial roads (S356, S336, S221) run through the area.

Water transport

Yuantuojiao Resort has developed inland waterways, with unimpeded channels for journeys from the sea into the Yangtze River or from the River to the sea.
