Located in the Yuantuojiao Resort, the Fisherman's Wharf cultural experience center is funded by Qidong Culture and Tourism Group with more than 35 million yuan ($5.3 million).

Taking the Yangtze River and ocean civilization as its main design elements, the center, which covers over 1,600 square meters, creates space for interaction and displays through themed landscapes, interactive facilities and multimedia. After completion, it will become the first integrated cultural experience center themed dome cinema in Jiangsu province.

As the core of the center, the dome cinema will enable visitors to soar over Qidong through an all-round audio-visual experience.

In addition to the dome cinema, the center will also be equipped with virtual reality (VR) rooms, a talk show theater, an interactive painting area and VR experience areas. It is scheduled to be open in April 2021.
