According to the Second Geological Exploration Institute affiliated to Henan Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, a world-class outsize rutile deposit was discovered in Fangcheng county. The deposit,which is 30 kilometers in length, covers about 60 square kilometers. The grade C + D reserves of rutile reach 1.2 million tons and the perspective resources reach 12.39 million tons, while the original resources amount to 44.87 million tons and the total amount of resources reaches 57.26 million tons.
