China Consumer Poverty Alleviation Life Museum in Nanyang Pavilion opens

The opening of the China Consumer Poverty Alleviation Life Museum in Nanyang Pavilion was held on Jan 19, alongside a poverty alleviation product exhibition and sales event, marking a solid step forward in Nanyang's consumer poverty alleviation work.

The pavilion is located on the first floor of the north side of the Municipal Post Office. It covers an area of more than 200 square meters. It is jointly operated by the Municipal Post Office and the Xiyou Shanchuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. of Xichuan County.

The pavilion has set up exhibition areas for high-quality agricultural products from various counties and cities. More than 419 products from more than 60 merchants have been put on the shelves. The products on the shelves include fruit from poor cooperatives, livestock and poultry meat and eggs, whole grains and various local specialties.

At present, the city has a total of 1,673 declared suppliers, 8,974 kinds of declared products, 8,852 kinds of publically-recognized poverty alleviation products, and an estimated annual output value of 66.209 billion yuan.

Nanyang City will also hold a series of consumer poverty alleviation activities to provide consumers with the highest quality specialty products, foods, and tourist routes.
