Six scenic spots in Nanyang using facial recognition for entry
According to the Nanyang Tourism Bureau, six scenic spots are now providing tourists with free internet access, self-service ticket purchases, and facial recognition services.
At present, all of Nanyang's Class A tourist attractions and cultural tourism business sites are being reopened in an orderly manner.
There are 43 A-level tourist attractions (including Dengzhou City), 38 of which have been reopened. There are 69 star-rated hotels, 63 of which have reopened. There are 102 travel agencies and branches, of which 70 have reopened, and there are 585 cultural business establishments, 472 of which have reopened.
At the same time, the city sought provincial funds of 3.5 million yuan ($541,351) at the beginning of this year for intelligent upgrades to scenic spots.
