Nanyang takes measures to promote employment and protect people's livelihoods
Wolong district in Nanyang city held its 2021 spring enterprise employment online recruitment information conference on Feb 20. More than 40 companies provided more than 6,000 jobs.
Miss Food, Rongyang Industrial, Muyuan Group and seven other companies released on-site recruitment information and more than 70,000 job seekers participating in the live broadcast online.
Wolong has established 39,869 labor transfer output intention accounts. The first group of migrant workers from Wolong was sent to Guangdong to return to work on Feb 13 last year.
Relying on the employment channels of local governments, the district collected and released corporate job information pertaining to more than 1,100 companies. There were 47,000 jobs identified and 65,625 posts available for migrant workers, while five district companies were organized to participate in the third Henan Province Talent Recruitment Innovation and Development Conference.
More than 260 resumes were received and 159 employment intentions were signed at the conference.
The district has reduced social insurance premiums by 6.612 million yuan for seven large enterprises, and exempted 2,970 small, medium and micro enterprises from social insurance premiums amounting to RMB 156.887 million. Companies applied for enterprise stabilization subsidies of RMB 976,000 and subsidies for employee skill improvement of RMB 92,000.
More than 1.2 million yuan was processed for unemployment subsidies for 1,480 people. The “zombie company” Nanyang Chemical Fiber Factory wrote off about 3,706.69 yuan per employee in total pension insurance premiums, benefiting 618 employees of bankrupt companies.
Social insurance arrears for 1403 retired soldiers have been identified, and 1001 have been compensated. The district’s overall work is in the forefront of Nanyang’s.
Wolong completed “training tasks” for 11,801 people, of whom 9,699 were “trained by work” in the five industries of transportation, wholesale and retail, accommodation and catering, foreign trade, and cultural tourism, and 2,335 people were trained for key employment groups.
A total of 12,034 subsidized vocational skills trainings have been completed. The Nanyang Second Technical School and enterprises within and outside the area have carried out school-enterprise cooperation to integrate production and education and strengthen the training of skilled workers.
