Since the beginning of this year, Nanyang's tourism industry has received 30,745,500 tourists and achieved tourism revenue of 11.134 billion yuan.

Nanyang's tourism industry has taken "original ecology, living culture, deep experience, slow life" as its theme, and created international research and study tours to showcase the district's characteristic cultural tourism resources and stimulate cultural tourism consumption.

In the first quarter, the city invested a total of 1.507 billion yuan in the tourism industry. According to statistics, compared with the same period in 2019, tourist numbers and tourism revenue increased by 23 percent and 10 percent, respectively. During the May Day holiday period, the city received 6,351,500 tourists, realizing tourism income of 2.634 billion yuan.
