As of Aug 28, Nanyang had had taken delivery of 12.1 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and the total number of vaccinations administered reached 6.93 million. The first dose vaccination rate of the permanent population over 12 years old reached 88.5 percent.

At present, nearly 5.8 million people over the age of 18 in the city have received their first dose of the vaccination, with the vaccination rate reaching 86.5 percent, the first-dose vaccination rate of the registered population stands at 102.58 percent, and the first-dose vaccination rate of the 12 to 14-year-old population is 97.65 percent.
