Six companies from Ningbo, Zhejiang province made the 2024 list of the top 500 Chinese brands recently unveiled by the esteemed brand evaluation agency Asiabrand in Beijing.

The honored sextet on the roster consists of Joyson Electronics, Sunny Optical Technology, Ningbo Construction, Peacebird, Youngor, and the Bank of Ningbo, which ranked 239th, 301st, 348th, 391st, 429th, and 455th, respectively.

On a national scale, Huawei Technologies led the pack of the top 500 Chinese brands for 2024. Following closely behind are industry giants such as State Grid, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Tencent Holdings, and China State Construction.

Beijing, Guangdong province, Shanghai, Zhejiang province, and Jiangsu province emerged as the top five locations in terms of the number of listed brands, with 106, 69, 52, 40, and 27 entrants, respectively.
