4 electronics companies rank among nation's top 100 list
Four companies from Ningbo, Zhejiang province, have secured positions on the 2024 list of the top 100 enterprises in China in terms of electronic information competitiveness, as recently revealed by the China Information Technology Industry Federation.
This list assessed candidates from across the nation based on various dimensions such as scale, profitability, R&D, and social responsibility.
The honored quartet from Ningbo are Joyson Electronics, Risen Energy, Sunny Optical Technology, and Ronbay Technology, which secured the 31st, 44th, 47th, and 64th spots, respectively.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the electronic information industry comprises the electronic information manufacturing and software and information technology services sectors. The featured companies from Ningbo are recognized as frontrunners in the national electronic information manufacturing industry, showcasing expertise in burgeoning sectors such as the Internet of Vehicles, new energy, optoelectronics, and new materials.
Nationwide, the top 100 enterprises on the list saw their cumulative operating income surpass 653.8 billion yuan ($91.2 billion) in 2023, marking a 10 percent year-on-year increase. The top 10 entrants are Huawei, BYD, Lenovo, Haier, Xiaomi, TCL, Hisense, BOE, Tianneng, and ZTE.
