A remarkable achievement has emerged from the collaborative efforts of Jiangbei district, Ningbo, Zhejiang province and Yuexi county, Liangshan Yi autonomous prefecture, Sichuan province, illuminating a path towards revitalizing Yuexi's traditional arts and crafts.

Centered on elevating rural industries and promoting intangible cultural heritage, Jiangbei has been actively engaging in a number of projects in Yuexi.

In May, a 5-million-yuan ($700,868) investment resulted in the opening of the Yuexi ICH Hall. The hall has integrated into local labor skill training, introducing Yi embroidery workshops and other initiatives. Over 10 training sessions focusing on skill enhancement, market development, creative design, and e-commerce have benefitted over 600 individuals.

Outside the halls, "ICH Workshops" thrive as income generators for local artisans. Embroiderers and silverware craftsmen work diligently, contributing to household incomes with an average increase of over 5,000 yuan. These workshops have nurtured over 100 skilled embroiderers and 20 silversmiths.

Jiangbei and Yuexi have also pioneered a model centered on Yi embroidery and silverware, fostering entrepreneurship and employment. By incorporating ICH into school curricula, they've developed more than 10 study programs, enriching students' cultural experiences.

Innovative order-based systems for artisans, facilitated by Jiangbei and Yuexi's human resources departments, have provided flexible employment opportunities for women while expanding the reach of the creative market. A robust online-offline supply chain has propelled 36 cultural and creative products to market, with standouts like the "Torch Wellness Hammer" achieving monthly sales of over 1,000 units and generating nearly 100,000 yuan in revenue.
