China's 24 Solar Terms, the ancient Chinese knowledge of dividing a year through the observation of the sun's annual motion, was inscribed on the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2016.

Also included on the list are some iconic art forms, such as Kun Opera, Chinese seal engraving, shadow puppetry, Chinese calligraphy and Chinese abacus. Each fine art shows the creativity and diversity of Chinese culture.
