The National Vocational Skills Competition for Winemakers kicked off in Yinchuan, Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on Aug 8.
The competition featured a single category for winemakers, comprising both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The event attracted 120 winemakers from provinces and autonomous regions such as Shandong, Hebei, Xinjiang and Ningxia, all gathering to showcase their expertise and compete on the same stage.

The top 20 percent of participants are expected to be awarded the honorary title of "COFCO Group Technical Expert," while the top 6 participants receive a one-time monetary reward.
Organized by the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center and COFCO Group, this competition serves as a platform for winemakers to demonstrate their skills, celebrate their craft, and push the boundaries of excellence in the world of winemaking.
