Ningxia Hui autonomous region is implementing several initiatives to enhance employment opportunities, focusing on college graduates and young job seekers.
Key efforts include establishing platforms that connect job seekers with employers, strengthening collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and enterprises, and increasing the frequency of public employment activities.
Public employment service agencies across Ningxia have organized 1,236 online and offline job fairs, offering 479,100 job opportunities.
These events have attracted participation from 17 provinces, including Fujian, Jiangsu, and Inner Mongolia autonomous region. They have involved 944 enterprises from 21 provinces, created 22,000 job positions, and facilitated employment agreements for 5,791 individuals.
Zhang Baobin, an official of the Ningxia Department of Human Resources and Social Security, noted that the province has signed human resources exchange and cooperation agreements with 19 provinces, including Fujian, Hebei, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia.
Ningxia has also pioneered new "cloud" models, conducting 612 online recruitment activities. These efforts include inviting officials from relevant departments to outline employment policies in live broadcasts and collaborating with 49 prominent local enterprises to offer job opportunities.
Another significant effort to promote employment is enhancing vocational skills training. Ningxia has designated 18 types of work, including goji berry pruning, embroidery production, and snack preparation, as special vocational training programs.
Over 30,000 individuals in the region have benefited from these policies.
