On Oct 26, Rahman Bayramdurdyyev from Turkmenistan arrived in Yinchuan, Ningxia, to participate in the China (Ningxia) - Central Asia Youth Friendship Camp.
The event, part of the 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, gathered over 300 participants, including provincial and ministerial officials from Central Asian countries, youth representatives from China and Central Asia, and international students in China.
Ruherman, now 30, has lived in China since he was 16. Fluent in Chinese, he considers China his second home. He completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctorate studies here and now works as an international student assistant at the China University of Petroleum.
Youth representatives engaged in vibrant interactions at the opening ceremony and then visited North Minzu University to learn about the history of ethnic integration in China.
Participants expressed their long-held desire to visit China and Ningxia. They cherished the opportunity to learn about China's culture, history, and development, hoping to bring their experiences back to their home countries and contribute to the friendly exchanges and cooperation between Central Asia and China.
Participants also visited Ningxia's winery and the Yinchuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Center to witness firsthand the development of China and Ningxia.
The youth friendship camp is a significant initiative by China to promote deeper exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Central Asian youth.
