Ningxia Xingyuanda Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, located in Lingwu, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, has adopted smart cattle farming technologies.

In the company's modern milking area, 18,000 cows queue up in an orderly manner on two pieces of 80-position rotary milking equipment every day. The equipment only rotates for 10 minutes per turn, and the cows are milked in three batches per day, with a round-trip time of less than half an hour.

The entire milking process only requires seven staff members, and standardized procedures — including medicinal bath, disinfection, milking and sterilization — ensure the safety and quality of the milk.

During the rest of the time, cows are free to eat, rest, and stroll on the sports field.

Newborn calves have their own exclusive "villa" and are carefully cared for by dedicated personnel. Adult cows are equipped with soft, sandy beds, with overhead fans providing continuous ventilation day and night.

The ranch feeds a daily mixed diet consisting of compressed corn, silage, and cottonseed in carefully measured proportions. A single cow eats 50 kilograms of customized nutritious meals per day.

These cows currently produce 45 kilograms of milk daily and 14,300 kilograms per cow annually, more than the domestic average.
