A delegation from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) visited Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on July 10 to explore new opportunities for collaboration.

The delegation was led by Professor Nisai Fuengwarodsakul, dean of the Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering at KMUTNB.

During the meeting, Huang Zhiqiu, deputy director of NUAA's University Council, highlighted the long-standing friendship between China and Thailand and the broad prospects for educational cooperation between the two countries.

He noted that NUAA and KMUTNB share complementary strengths in disciplines such as advanced manufacturing and new energy. They have already achieved positive results through academic exchanges, faculty and student mobility, and collaborative platforms, Huang added.

Huang expressed hope the two universities would continue to deepen practical cooperation by expanding collaboration in talent cultivation, joint scientific research, and industry-academia integration.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on a range of potential initiatives, including research and industrial partnerships, joint education and training programs, faculty exchanges, and the establishment of an international academic alliance for sustainable manufacturing.
