Six plains zebras from the US are about to become stars at the Ordos Zoo. 

The six plains zebras arrived there on July 2.

“The zebras are already very comfortable in their surroundings,” said a zoo official.

After a period of strict quarantine and inspection, the zebras will meet the public.

The plains zebra is the most common and geographically widespread species of zebra. It ranges from the south of Ethiopia through East Africa to as far south as Botswana and eastern South Africa.
