The history and culture of Ordos, the host city of the 13th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), is being promoted in publications released recently.  

The materials were announced at a launching ceremony for the Jinguan Wenku book series on Sept 2.

The official publications of the Conference were also released at the ceremony held in Ordos.

The charm of Ordos is the common theme of all the publications, which include a brochure – Hi, I am Ordos, an album of original songs, a special report produced by China Daily, the Jinguan Wenku book series and two sets of postcards.

The book series features introductions to the history, culture, arts, key construction projects, economy, and folk customs of Ordos.
