An evening gala was launched in Wulanmulun Lake District Square, Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, to enrich the residents' cultural life, as a part of the 13th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNCCD, which opened in the city on Sept 6.

Sponsored by a community in Kangbashi District, the gala was widely welcomed by the local people. The melodious popular songs and graceful dances communicated the positive spiritual attitude of the residents and the live show became a sea of joy.
