Dongsheng plans 3,000 homes for low-income residents

Around 3,000 new homes are set to be made available to rent by the local government of Dongsheng district in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to a recent press release by the local property management authority.
The properties will be made available over the course of next year and will exclusively be reserved for people on low incomes.
In 2018, Dongsheng district spent 61 million yuan ($8.86 million) on building public rental properties. And in December, 733 were allocated to residents who met the relevant criteria.
Anyone interested in renting one of the new properties needs to file an application to the management office in the community where they live. The allocation of properties will be the responsibility of local community officials.
Before moving in, a tenant will need to sign a contract with the relevant property management company.
