Inner Mongolia creates 79,100 urban jobs in first 5 months

According to local authorities, from January to May this year, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region improved its employment policies and worked to ensure the stability of the region's employment situation. A total of 791,000 new jobs were created in the region's urban areas.

Inner Mongolia is promoting entrepreneurship in order to create new jobs. During the first five months of the year, a total of 5,000 people received entrepreneurship training, after which 1,400 people successfully started businesses, resulting in the creation of 4,000 jobs. A total of 417 million yuan ($60.61 million) in guaranteed loans for entrepreneurs have been handed out.

The region also provides vocational skills training for residents, and it continues to improve unemployment insurance systems to provide the unemployed with essential resources.

Efforts have been made to increase employment and poverty alleviation workshops have been established to encourage entrepreneurship.

In the first five months of the year, the region strengthened cooperation with Beijing in labor services and 44 special job fairs were held, offering 81,000 jobs.
