Ordos Airport adjusted its flight procedures and started its winter flight season on Oct 27, according to local media reports.

Airport officials said that during the winter flight season, there are 10 airlines operating 27 routes.

Of these, nine are new domestic routes, 30 to Chinese top navigable cities; two are international routes, and four to international navigable cities -- greatly satisfying the wide travel needs of passengers.

Ordos Airport has added some popular tourist routes and has also made adjustments and streamlined some routes' time schedules and cities.

According to the weather characteristics and flight plans of the season, the airport has formulated a complete schedule, officials said.

Officials said it had made a good allocation of personnel and resources to ensure the normal operation of all flights in its winter schedule.

That was in response to a combination of factors -- including the various trends in route increases and decreases, daily and weekly flight trends and the change in passenger flows in and out of ports after seasonal changes,
