A signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on developing cultural tourism projects between Otog Banner and Ordos Culture Tourism Development Co Ltd was held at Kangbashi district in Ordos, a city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 14.

Otog Banner, a banner in Ordos, has lots of cultural heritages and rich tourism resources. It has many valuable cultural tourism riches, including unique Mongol-Yuan culture, grassland culture, sacrifice-related culture and red culture.

In recent years, Otog Banner, relying on its rich cultural tourism resources, has implemented the development strategy of holistic tourism, comprehensively promoted the construction of themed tourism such as tours based on self-driving, grasslands, exploration, deserts, hiking, rural area, and red tours, and has constantly improved the development quality and scale of its cultural tourism industry.

With the signing of the agreement, the Ordos Culture Tourism Development Co plans to use its rich operating experience and excellent management team to develop, construct and operate tourism resources such as Baiyanjing, the Arjai Grottoes, and national natural reserves for dinosaur track fossils, and to design tourism routes and create excellent projects, to promote the transformation and upgrading of Otog Banner's cultural tourism industry.
