Erdos Group, a household name when it comes to cashmere, as well as a renowned company based in Ordos, a city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, donated 105,000 surgical masks to the city's headquarters for fighting the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), on Jan 31.

The donation, according to local media reports, has helped relieve the current shortage of protective masks in the city.

The group has now sent four batches of emergency medical supplies to the epidemic prevention and control headquarters, with a total of 1,143 sets of protective clothing and 108,000 masks donated.

Meanwhile, the fifth batch of medical supplies purchased by the group from Japan and the United States for the prevention and control of the epidemic are currently in transit.
