Wish of an Elderly Party Secretary, an original dance work created by an art team from Dalad Banner – administered by Ordos city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region –  was recently runner-up in the professional group section of the first “Dance World” National Dance Competition, according to a report in the Inner Mongolia Daily.

Officials said that it is the only work from Inner Mongolia to win a prize in the competition.

The dance competition received a total of 1,774 programs submitted from China, the United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Mongolia and other countries.
