Inner Mongolia’s Youth Track and Field Championships held in Ordos

The 2020 Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Youth Track and Field Championships kicked off on Aug 17 at Ordos Municipal Sports Center in Ordos city, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to a report from Ordos Daily.
The championships were sponsored by the sports bureau of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and organized by Inner Mongolia Track and Field Sports Management Center and Ordos’ municipal education and sports bureau.
A total of 1,092 youth athletes in five groups would compete in 20 events over four days. These athletes were representatives of leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia and Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Physical Education.
The competition events included running, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus, hammer throw and javelin.
