A total of 659 orders were placed on Aug 26 during a livestreaming event on China’s short video platform Douyin to promote local cultural and tourism products from Ordos city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The livestreaming event, jointly hosted by the publicity department of the CPC’s Ordos municipal committee and Ordos’ culture and tourism bureau, was a part of the Ordos Online Culture Industry Expo, which runs from Aug 20 to Sept 20.

It attracted the participation of six local enterprises to promote 29 categories of products, such as dairy snacks, dried beef and creative cultural works that reflect the spirit of the Mongolian people.
All of the products presented during the livestream are high quality, feature exquisite craftsmanship and were sold at preferential prices.
The two-hour livestreaming event drew around 14,000 viewers and gained 9,800 likes.
