The 2020 Ordos Farmers’ Harvest Festival was held on Sept 19-22 in the Dongsheng district of the city of Ordos in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

This year’s focus of the festival was China’s achievements in its goal to end poverty and build a better-off society.

A total of 146 enterprises and farmers from Ordos’ nine banners and districts showcased thousands of agricultural and dairy products during the event, to celebrate the harvest and success in tackling poverty.

Meanwhile, delicious dishes cooked by locals were offered to visitors.

A series of other activities – including an agricultural and dairy products promotion, a countryside food judging contest, an online promotion for agricultural and sideline products and cultural performances – were held during the festival.
