Cultural and creative tourism products from Ordos city won four awards – one silver award and three bronze awards – at the 2020 China Special Tourism Commodity Competition, according to a report in Ordos Daily.
The China Tourism Association hosted the competition, and the selection results were announced on Sept 25 in Emeishan city in Southwest China’s Sichuan province.

Organizers stated that more than 20,000 products from all over the country entered the final evaluation stage to compete for top honors in the field of characteristic tourism products in China.
The award-winning Ordos products include an edible lipstick made of butter, which was developed by Inner Mongolia Zhaolemeng Cultural Technology Development Co; wool scarves designed by Ordos Eqingbo Cultural Creative Co that feature elements of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals; as well as wine and tea sets developed by Inner Mongolia Rongchao Culture Industry Co.
