Construction ramps up at Ordos cloud computing industrial park

According to a report from Ordos Daily, construction of the cloud computing industrial park in Ordos High-tech Zone has sped up.
The industrial park will be a digital industry development cluster in Ordos city, involving cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and data rendering.
According to the person in charge of the project, 134,000 square meters of standardized data rooms have begun construction at Ordos High-tech Zone this year.
Of these, 20,000 square meters were invested in by enterprises for new construction projects, and the government invested in 114,000 square meters for continued construction.

The data rooms will all be built to meet the "T3+" standard. At present, construction has been completed on rooms totaling 16,000 sq m in area.
A total of 77,000 sq m could be built by the end of the year, which would accommodate 190,000 standard servers.
Additionally, Ordos High-tech Zone is constructing supporting facilities in the cloud computing industrial park, including a 1.2-km-long road, a pipe network spanning 2.3 km and a fire protection project covering 38,000 sq m.
