Ordos to declare national fuel cell vehicle demonstration city cluster

Ordos city will join Hohhot, Baotou and Wuhai cities in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, along with Jiading district in Shanghai municipality, to declare a national fuel cell vehicle demonstration city cluster.
The announcement was made at the Inner Mongolia Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Conference, held in Ordos on Nov 10.
More than 200 experts and scholars from the national hydrogen field attended the conference.

They had in-depth exchanges on the future development trend of hydrogen energy, key technologies and equipment such as vehicle fuel cells and high-voltage storage and transportation equipment, and the construction of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration city clusters in Inner Mongolia.
They also explored the development direction of the hydrogen energy industry.
Additionally, the governments of Ordos, Hohhot, Baotou and Wuhai signed hydrogen energy strategic cooperation agreements with 22 enterprises from Shanghai and Qingdao.
