Ordos company to be recognized as Inner Mongolia high-tech enterprise

Inner Mongolia Gaoyuan Almond Milk Co from Jungar Economic Development Zone in Ordos city, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, will be recognized as a high-tech enterprise at the autonomous region level, making it the fifth company in the zone to receive the ranking.

A plan is in place to recognize the second batch of 124 companies in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region as high-tech enterprises in 2020, according to the relevant provisions of administrative documents issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance and State Taxation Administration.

Inner Mongolia Gaoyuan Almond Milk is a producer of almond milk and a developer of related processing equipment. It has been selected as a high-tech enterprise by virtue of its years of scientific and technological innovation.

The company's self-developed method for preparing fruit juice using dried fruit extraction technology has won the national invention patent. Another eight R&D achievements, including a tank cage installation device and a pulp residue and raw liquid separator, have obtained national utility model patents.

In addition to the enterprise’s efforts on technology R&D, Jungar Economic Development Zone has created funds and policies to encourage and support enterprises in technological innovation.

The output value of scientific and technological innovation in the zone has increased by 31.9 percent, enterprise R&D investment accounts for 0.2 percent of sales revenue, and the contribution rate of scientific and technological innovation to economic development is 25.2 percent.
