Ordos, located in the southwest of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is an important city involved in the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos-Yunlin city cluster and surrounded by the "几"-shaped bend of the Yellow River.

Ordos' vast area, diverse landforms, and regional differences have resulted in many tourist attractions. Its grasslands, deserts, the Gobi, and rich ethnic culture all offer their own unique charms.

Here are several tour highlights in Ordos:

Route 1

Dongsheng district—Gathering Paradise—Erdos Cashmere Industrial Scenic Area—Ordos Wild Zoo—Jiuchenggong Scenic Area—Kangbashi Scenic Area—Grassland Silk Road Cultural and Scenic Area—Genghis Khan's Mausoleum—Subohan Grassland Scenic Area

Route 2 

Kangbashi Scenic Area—Resonant Sand Bay—Ordos Grassland Scenic Area

This route is preferred by holiday tourists and focuses on the desert experience, grassland sightseeing, and urban recreation.

Route 3

Qixing Lake Desert Resort—Dalad Banner—Juungar National Mine Park—Juungar Yellow River Canyon—Chinese Pine King Scenic Area 

Scenic sites on this route are dotted along the Yellow River Highway and feature multiple landscapes and villages along the Yellow River. It shows the unique charm of the Ordos section of the Yellow River and exotic ethnic cultural customs.
