Ordos airport to add 7 flights for winter flight season

Ordos Ejin Horoo International Airport in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region will switch to its winter flight schedule on Oct 31 to meet the travel demands of passengers, according to information from the airport.

The winter flight program will run until next March.

During the winter flight season, the Ordos airport will add seven new flights, resume the operation of two flights, and improve the operation of one flight.

The added flights will connect Ordos to Tianjin municipality, Jinan and Qingdao in Shandong province, Harbin in Heilongjiang province, Changchun in Jilin province, Lanzhou in Gansu province, Handan in Hebei province, Hefei in Anhui province, and Xining in Qinghai province.

The flights to resume operation are the Ordos-Zhengzhou-Sanya flight and the Ordos-Shijiazhuang-Sanya flight.

The previous flight between Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Ordos and Shenyang will be changed to the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport-Ordos-Shenyang flight.

When all the flights are operating normally, the number of cities connect to Ordos by plane will be 32.

Additionally, the number of flights from Ordos to Handan, Harbin, and Changchun will increase, which is expected to provide convenience for travelers.
