A new modern arts center in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region will soon debut.

The center – which is located in Ordos' Kangbashi district and has been built on the site of an old heating plant – is widely expected to become a popular landmark in the district.

The facade of the center retains the industrial style of the original building.

A large 3D screen on the building's exterior wall is a highlight of the complex.

The large screen is 58.75 meters long and 24 m wide, covering a total area of 1,410 square meters.

The screen fully employs energy-saving functionality, while ensuring the maximum display effect and showing blue light-free images that meet national standards.

Moving forwards, the cutting-edge modern arts exhibition facility will hold themed shows and music festivals and is expected to pioneer trends in different fields.
