Ordos issues $453.11m in subsidies in H1

The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region issued 3.02 billion yuan ($453.11 million) in financial subsidies in the first half of this year.

The subsidies were used for agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, education, family planning, construction, social security and wages.

To be more specific, 380.43 million yuan went to agriculture, 295.44 million yuan was for animal husbandry, and 300.61 million yuan went to forestry.

Ejin Horoo Banner received the most subsidies at 1.52 billion yuan. It was followed by Dalad Banner at 411.10 million yuan and Juungar Banner at 25.20 million yuan.

Additionally, 2.99 billion yuan in subsidy funds were issued to farmers and herdsmen in Ordos, while 33.33 million yuan in subsidy funds went to urban residents.
