The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was successfully held in the national capital of Beijing from Oct 16-22.

A report by the 19th CPC Central Committee to the 20th CPC National Congress was delivered, which triggered an enthusiastic response among people from all walks of life in the city of Ordos in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Ordos people have expressed that they must have the courage to take responsibility, work hard, and contribute to the high-quality development of the city.

Ordos plans to adhere to a development concept stressing ecology and green development as well as promoting carbon and pollution reduction.

It will also strive for a balance between development and ecology, between development speed, quality and efficiency, between low-carbon transformation and safety assurance, and between emerging industries and traditional industries, and comprehensively implement scientific and technological innovation work and talent work.
