Regional circulation logistics channel opens in North China

A freight train carrying daily necessities from Hebei province arrived in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Oct 30.

The daily necessities include more than 8,400 bags of flour and over 5,800 boxes of vegetables and fruits. They will hit the markets of Kangbashi district, Dongsheng district and Hanggin Banner in the jurisdiction of Ordos.

The train, as part of a regional circulation logistics channel connecting Ordos to North China's Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province, as well as East China's Shandong province, was successfully opened.

Via the freight train, infrastructure materials produced in Ordos will be transported to Xiongan New Area in Hebei province, and daily necessities from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shandong will be transported to Ordos.

The freight train will be served by CHN Energy Xinshuo Railway Co. On Oct 30, the company was awarded the plaque of "Enthusiastic Enterprise in Guaranteeing Material Supply" by Xing Zheng, Party secretary of Kangbashi district.
