Ordos attracts investment worth 85.7b yuan from Hangzhou

The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region successfully held a business promotion meeting in Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province, on Feb 25.

At the meeting, 11 districts, banners and industrial parks in the jurisdiction of Ordos signed cooperation deals with 35 Hangzhou-based enterprises.

The signed projects have a total investment volume of 85.7 billion yuan ($12.79 billion) and involve new energy, modern services and emerging industries.

Meanwhile, another 12 Ordos investment promotion liaison offices were awarded licenses at the meeting.

In recent years, Ordos has been striving for building itself into an important national energy base and demonstration zone for industrial transformation and upgrading.

Ordos has begun building industrial chains for emerging industries such as modern coal chemical and new energy equipment manufacturing. It is also expanding and optimizing its modern agriculture, animal husbandry and modern service industries, while promoting the deep integration of industrial and innovation chains.

The Ordos municipal government is making every effort to better serve those seeking business cooperation in the city.
