The Ordos municipal government signed a cooperation agreement with China's high-tech giant Huawei in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on Dec 15, focusing on the coal industry, the internet of things, and the Mine Harmony industrial cooperation.

According to the agreement, both parties will fully leverage the advantages of the energy industry and application scenarios in Ordos and harness Huawei's technological expertise in big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other domains.

Together, they will establish an industrial internet operation company to promote the application and development of AI models, industrial internet platforms, and the Mine Harmony internet of things operating system in the coal industry.

Through refining organizational structure, application methods, industrial layout, and policy guidance, the aim is to transform Ordos into a hub for industrial internet platforms and Mine Harmony industrial applications.

This initiative will gradually expand from the mining sector to other industrial fields, empowering industrial transformation and upgrading through digital technology.
