The third session of the 5th Ordos Municipal People's Congress commenced in the city of Ordos on Jan 17.

A total of 271 deputies from various sectors and fronts across the city have gathered to contribute their insights and recommendations, aiming to open a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Ordos.

During the session, Mayor Du Huiliang delivered the government work report on behalf of the Ordos municipal government.
