The city of Ordos hosted the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement for high-quality development in the grass industry with China Agricultural University on May 20, along with a technology-driven forum aimed at enhancing the new and high-quality productive forces in the grass industry.

The collaborative agreement for the high-quality development of the grass industry aims to establish a research and development center for the national forage industry technology system, and set up a national forage industry technology system chief expert workstation.

According to the agreement, both parties will focus on areas such as forage breeding, the improvement of degraded grasslands, enhancement of saline-alkali pasture areas, reclamation of mining areas, and efficient animal husbandry.

They aim to achieve technological research and development, promote technological integration and demonstrations, cultivate more talents, and build new platforms, to create a modern grass industrial park in Ordos.

During the forum, government officials, experts and enterprise representatives delivered reports and engaged in in-depth discussions, expressing their intentions for future cooperation.
